I don’t know how to play guitar.
But damn, our friend Hayley Hosman can.
Hayley placed first on Saturday’s regional finale for the Campus Music Fest, which is significant for a number of reasons:
1) She gets to move on to compete at the national finale in June.
2) She won a sweet, custom Gibson guitar. Perfect for schooling kids at Rock Band.
3) The other bands supposedly sounded like Nickelback and Creed. Which means that I have some sliver of hope for the musical tastes of my peers, who voted for Hayley to win over all that other garbage.
Congrats, Hayley! See you at nationals.
