2nd Annual Bindleball and Tulay Art Exhibition
Yesterday, my friend, Marius, and I went to the 2nd Annual Bindleball and Tulay Art Exhibit. The event was a fundraiser for local artists and non-profit organizations that are very much a part of San Francisco’s identity and community. Taking the word “ball” too literally, we expected some sort of gala but instead found ourselves in a very casual setting of food and clothing vendors, stand-up comedy acts, and dance performances in the lobby of San Francisco’s International Hotel. Marius and I ended up being the most dressed up people at the event, perhaps even inappropriately. We couldn’t complain because the event was free, and lawdy knows how much it costs to go to a real ball. Fun stuff.

Me and Dianne Que (Hurley Sashimi) She was selling these knits at her table. The knit “helmet” that you see her wearing is aptly named “the beekeeper.” And of course I had to try one on.
I didn’t feel very protect against bees. But it was warm.
