Berenstain Bears Movie in the Works
With a movie like Where The Wild Things Are generating so much buzz, it seems like Hollywood, while still riding the wave of exploiting comic book superheroes, are setting their eyes on pimping a new genre: children’s story books.
The Berenstain Bears, whose book titles were very heavy hints on the lesson you were expected to learn, are in the works to hit the big screen. And Shawn Levy is in line to produce the film, director of Night at the Museum franchise. He’s no Spike Jonze, but NATM was tolerable.
Oh yeah, anyone recognize the graphic? If you’ve scrolled through our banners, you might’ve seen it.

this does not bode well.
all i can think of is Disney’s “Country Bears” live action film.
and i’m sure that if anyone at all had watched it, they’d be able to confirm it wasn’t good.
