Who could forget Kimmy Gibbler’s Stinky Feet?
Let’s face it. Full House’s shtick, and the shtick of early 90’s sitcoms, was to use the same running jokes over and over again. And all of us ate it up for most of the early part of that decade, which gives Full House a special place in our hearts, even if the writing was not up to a “Joss Whedon” standard.
Out of all the jokes on that show, I posit that Kimmy Gibbler’s stinky feet was one of the show’s funniest bits. It beats out Danny Tanner’s cleanliness, Uncle Jessi’s hair, Joey and Mr. Woodchuck, and anything that Michelle said intended for comic relief.
It was the way they portrayed the particular stank of her feet. If I were to imagine it, it would smell like somewhere between a Chuck E. Cheese ball pit and a boys’ locker room after lacrosse practice.
