Too Little, “Too Late”

An Italian watch company has caused madness in their homeland for their “Too Late” rubber watches. The only difference between these things and that Lance Armstrong era-inspired rubber wristband trend from 2004 are:

1) Nothing

OK, well, these watches do tell the time, and you can’t really get them for free during Health Awareness Week with an inspirational quote stamped on them (also, the cost is about $29 and the money doesn’t go to your fav charity. Blaspheme)!

Fashion victims wear 2 or 3 watches together, perfectionists choose the right colour to match their favourite suit. It’s a young product, as 70% of those who buy it are aged between 12 and 40, but there are also many children and professionals who wear it.

More then minimalistic, it’s minimal and pop. Too Late is the state of the art of cheap design. Under the clock-face there are only 2 buttons (mode and set) and the date is written in USA style only, month before the day.

I think this youtube link is necessary.

Lance Armstrong for Ralph Lauren TV

Lance Armstrong, 7-time Tour de France winner, does a 3-part interview with David Lauren covering the topics of fighting cancer, LiveStrong Day, and life after cycling. Please learn something from this interview: if you have massive headaches and start coughing up blood, get it checked because it might be cancer. Do not make an excuse for it and brush it off. And pay attention to David Lauren’s amusing listening face.
