Erin Wasson x RVCA Fall 2009 Preview
The Steel Closet was invited to preview RVCA’s Fall 2009 Collection last Sunday, which also happens to be a collaboration with Erin Wasson. For those not familiar (we seem to have a diverse readership,) Erin Wasson is the supermodel-turnt-fashion-designer and as of lately, the style she inspires has been gaining a lot of popularity lately, especially with the fashion blogs. So of course, we were honored to attend and mingle with the “fashion community” as SF’s underdogs. Drinks were served, DJ was playing the mood music, a band performed, and we were treated with a runway show of next season’s pieces (not necessarily in that order.)
I had to drag ArmandLeg along because fashion shows are no fun by yourself. Is it normal to STILL be nervous around models? Oh well, I’ll get the hang of it, I guess. Saw the infamous Rumi Neely’s name on the list, but didn’t see her. We’ll meet you one day.
